Richmond House

GRADE I HOUSE IN RICHMOND

The owner of this imposing early eighteenth century house wished to install awnings to the south facing elevation. He had found an old photograph probably early twentieth century showing the windows shaded by striped awnings.

I surveyed and drew up the façade for him to make a listed building application. This was a very interesting exercise as one is rarely required to model a building of this stature. Needless to say, Richmond planning department turned down the listed building application.
